I applied online. I interviewed at Saalex (Lexington Park, MD) in Dec 2017
Interview
I applied online in early December. After a few days I received a phone call asking for a brief phone interview. During this phone call they asked a few brief questions, relating to the position mostly, job location etc. After the phone call I received a request to interview in person. During the interview I meet with two individuals. The interview itself was not long only about 30 minutes. They asked questions based on job related duties, and how to handle certain situations. They let me know they would be in contact if they were to move forward in the process. Over all I felt they were informative through out the process.
The interview process was completely unstructured and ridiculous. The interviewers were asking me questions that did not pertain to the job description AT ALL, or my experience. Finally, I asked if there were any parts of this position that I would be doing that wasn't part of the job description, they said no ... which made me wonder why they were asking me so many unnecessary questions outside of the job description. Clearly no one was trained in interviewing styles and frankly, it was very uncomfortable and I felt bullied. The interviewers would smirk at each other after I answered questions, so unprofessional. Do not recommend applying for a position with this company. And when I asked what their company culture was - they had NO answer.
