I completed a virtual phone screen with talent acquisition followed by a virtual interview with the hiring manager and a writing assignment. I was then asked to come into the Playa del Rey offices to meet with the hiring manager. I requested a morning or early afternoon interview since I would be driving over an hour and didn't want to do so in rush hour for an interview; that request was not even acknowledged and I was set for a 4pm interview. I drove to the interview to essentially be given a personality test full of invasive questions like where my family is from and why I chose a specific college vs. asking about my experience and going over my writing assignment. In fact, asking about why I chose the college I did caught me completely off guard and I ended up sharing the truth, which was that it was a result of a suicide in my family. At the end of the interview, I was told talent acquisition would follow up. They didn't. I wrote a follow-up email to talent acquisition two weeks later, which was ignored. It's now been a month, and I feel completely disrespected by Sabio (and Sabio Holdings and Creator Television). They didn't value me or my time.
