I applied online. I interviewed at Sales Search Partners
Interview
This review pertains to my dealings with Sales Search Partners as a job seeker looking for employment in the area of technology. I applied for a position at a company that was posted by Sales Search Partners. The recruiter contacted me promptly and said that he likes to meet with new candidates like myself face to face. He sounded genuinely interested in learning about me and my career aspirations. When I met with him, he spent an hour with me and I left there feeling that this guy was going to be very helpful in my search. I could not have been more wrong. Every time I called his office, I was told he was in a meeting and put through to voicemail. He never returned any of my voicemails. I sent emails and he typically responded in 2 business days. Overall he was unresponsive and indifferent so I gave up on following up with him periodically. Out of the blue, he sent me an email about 2 job opportunities. I responded immediately and then he replied by saying that I was not qualified. Obviously, he was sending out an email blast to all of his clients without any consideration for their qualifications. He claims to be looking out for his clients' best interests, but all he cares about is getting a body to fill a position so that he can get a commission. I've worked with other recruiters, some good and some not as good, but this guy and the firm he worked for were the absolute worst.
I applied for a job that was posted by Sales Search Partners in Woburn location. I was skeptical about meeting with recruiter due to bad experiences in the past with no follow up on their part but I decided to trust the process. I spent over an hour with recruiter and I thought we had a very solid conversation. He spoke with me about several opportunities and said he would follow up the following week. I wrote a thank you note to him although honestly would have expected since he is also in sales himself he would have the decency to do the same or at the very least write me back. Since then I have sent two other emails to follow up and with NO response. Not sure this is how Sales Search Partners trains their recruiters but I am very disappointed. I understand if I wasn't a good fit for any jobs but noone is too busy to write a quick note. I have been in Sales for a long time and building relationships and referrals can be a big part of someones' success. Sadly once again left with a bad feeling about the recruiting world. I do not recommend.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sales Search Partners in May 2015
Interview
Sales Search Partners is a recruiter for technical and sales related positions. I applied for a position they were recruiting for and was told I was an excellent candidate in a phone consult with them. They said they would submit my resume, and wanted to have a Skype interview with me later in the week. The recruiter was late for the meeting. He was excited about me I was told they were going to submit my resume and attempt to bypass their client's phone screen policy and get me immediately in for a live interview. I pointed out that he told me he'd already submitted my resume several days earlier. He backtracked a little bit and said he had given my resume to his manager and was waiting to talk to me. He said he would follow up with me within 3 days.
I followed up at the end of the third day and he had clearly forgotten about me. He told me that he hadn't heard back yet and will follow up with me within 1 week. He didn't, so again, I did. He told me that I was "in play" and would hear back from him within a week. Again, I had to call. At that time, I found out they hadn't even submitted my resume yet because they had another candidate that had interviewed and wanted to see how it worked out for that individual before submitting anything else. When I said that he told me my resume had been submitted, he backtracked again and said "oh yes, we did". He tried to convince me I wanted a different Job. Except, they didn't. I immediately applied directly and had 4 interviews. They had never seen my resume before.
A month later, the recruiter contacted me to tell me they didn't hire his candidate and asked if he wanted to submit my resume now. I was obviously lied to the entire time and I lost a so much time.
