Interview
I recently went through a series of five interviews with Salto, and I've got to say, the experience was really positive. Each interview felt fair and well-organized, making the whole process quite smooth.
What stood out to me was how the interviewers took the time to really understand who I am, beyond just my technical skills. The first three rounds focused on technical questions, which were challenging but fair, and it felt like they were really interested in how I think and solve problems.
The interview with the CEO was a standout moment. It was more of a conversation than a formal interview, which was refreshing. It gave me a good sense of the company's direction and leadership style. Similarly, the final round with the VP of HR was straightforward and pleasant, wrapping up the whole process nicely.
Even though I didn't get the job in the end, I left with a positive impression of how Salto treats its candidates. The whole experience was fair and genuinely enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend their interview process to others.

1. File Recompilation Function: The task involved developing a function for a compilation system.
2. Multidimensional Graph Problem: Unfortunately, I don't recall the exact details of this question, but it revolved around optimizing for maximum points within a multidimensional graph. This problem was particularly intriguing, involving complex spatial reasoning and optimization strategies.

Interview
Had 3 tests and then got house work test, spent almost whole 1 hour on it. And just got cold response after all the time instead of explaining why I didnt fit.
And tbh its the only interview I didnt get passed over a technical review. Another friend told me about a weird experience he had with their interviews. It was more than a year ago and I still remember it, just passed by the company in linkedin and went here.
Later I asked why and they said the ux of the house work wasnt good, when it wasnt in the instructions that its something theyll score about. In the previous steps they mostly asked me about efficincy, and they also didn't say how much they expect me to work on it. So Ive set a limit for 1 hour and I even had animations in it and tests coverage and was made in an efficient logic.
