I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Satori Analytics (Thessaloníki, Western Macedonia) in Sep 2025
Interview
First, an online assessment in 2 hours, 2 easy tests and multiple choice questions. Then 20 mins call with HR and then the technical interview. It was supposed to last 30 mins, but it lasted 1 hour, which was good since it happened due to giving great replies. They were really satisfied with my answers, giving the feedback through the interview. I was really expecting and hoping to go the next step, but after 2-3 weeks they told me that they want someone that leaves in Athens and going to the office twice a week. However I live in Thessaloniki and the job was supposed to be remote-feasible. Anyway, they knew I live in Thessaloniki all along. The questions were a lot, focusing mainly in time series forecasting, being feature engineering, have a data gap (in dates), missing some months through the year, how I would solve specific time series problems. Also, questions avout ensemble methods, dimensionality reduction focusing on PCA,

solved 3 coding problems correctly, did an HR interview then ignored with no response. no idea what happened since the vibe was pretty positive and the interviewer was pretty positive too.

Interview
The first part involved completing a programming assessment. After that, the initial interview, which typically would have been with HR, was conducted by a principal who asked general questions similar to those asked by HR. The second interview, two weeks later, consisted of technical questions for 1.5 hours, with both the principal and a data scientist manager. Following that, I was tasked with completing a case study within a one-week deadline. However, they never provided me with the opportunity to explain the results and techniques I used because they halted the process at that point. While the initial interactions were friendly and positive, the overall experience turned sour as it took 1.5 months to learn that we would not proceed after the case study, without even being given the chance to present my findings to them.
