      Interview

This was hands down one of the most drawn-out and unnecessary interview processes I’ve ever experienced—especially for an entry-level position. Four rounds of interviews for a role that requires minimal experience is excessive, inefficient, and honestly disrespectful of candidates’ time. It felt like the company was more interested in putting on a show of being "thorough" than actually making smart, timely hiring decisions. If this is how they handle hiring, I can only imagine how they manage internal processes. Total waste of time and energy.

Hi there, I am the Chief People Officer here at Scan.com I wanted to dive into your interview experience since we have always driven a candidate-first process that is both timely and valuable. As you haven't provided details, I cannot clarify what happened during your specific process; however, all roles go through a four-stage process. We make the process clear in all of our job adverts so that nothing is a surprise - you know from the outset who you are meeting and why. In summary, they are: 1. Call with our recruitment team 2. Call with the hiring manager 3. Assessment 4. Culture fit with team members On average, we turn these processes around in about 2 weeks. Some might take longer due to the absence of staff or other priorities; however, we always keep applicants up-to-date. Regardless of skill requirements, it is essential that all candidates are assessed thoroughly, therefore ensuring we get the hire right the first time. We are sorry you were not successful and felt your time wasted. We wish you the best in your search.
