I withdrew early in the interview process, right after I learned the salary range. It was on par with what one would expect to earn in a junior-level editorial position, not as the big cheese at a publication.
But the interview itself was fine. Someone from HR contacted me shortly after I applied and scheduled a phone call. At the end of our first conversation, she promised to follow up within a day or two, and she did. (I appreciated that. I've been ghosted by several other organizations.) She was transparent about the (low, low) salary, and she was professional and pleasant the entire time.
