I applied online because from the reviews it looked like Scribe America was a legit company. The reviews weren't all great, but I thought I'd give the company a chance to see for myself in order to gain scribing experience. After applying I was sent a text message with a link to sign up for an interview for a the Quality Documentation Specialist position. I went ahead (thinking the company was legit) and scheduled the interview time, printed off the documents and even sent the recruiter a follow up message (as suggested) before the interview. The entire weekend I was looking forward to the interview on a Monday morning. I was on time for the interview and waiting by the phone for my scheduled meeting. After waiting I reviewed my paperwork again and was looking for a phone number to call the company to see if I could reschedule. None was available. No one called me either. So after 30 minutes of waiting by the phone I looked to see if I'd received a message to see if something happened to the recuiter thinking "sh*t happens" and even recruiters need to reschedule for whatever reason. NOTHING! There is no reason why someone from this company couldn't have contacted me if this was a legit opportunity. I didn't do anything wrong so absolutely makes no sense why this fell through! After looking at the reviews and how prior employees were treated more closely I release maybe this falling through was a good thing. But unfortunately I think this opportunity was utterly BOGUS, sadly.
