Recruiter reached out. Seemed to intrinsically understand every point in my work experience and background. Moved onto a hiring VP who although nice, had obvious challenges with filling the role, (said he had lagged filling it and was being "pushed" to do so), or understanding the suite of transferable, obvious and relevant skills to be a good addition to the team. In fact, he seemed proud of the awful fact, that he had spent almost 7 months fishing through candidates, yet noone quite met his criteria. I feel this is a glaring red flag, of something undisclosed. Also, did not seem to have an understanding that the recruiter did, of obvious applicable skills, or cutting-edge companies that bespoke being able to help him with new sales in a large territory. Seemed glued to "having contacts", yet apparently, noone in 7 months yet met all the most basic criteria to build relationships, keep organized and have boots on the ground experience with the industry. I am sorry for wasted time. Also, no reason was given despite asking blockers.
