      Sales Development Representative (SDR) Interview

      Feb 21, 2025
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Atlanta, GA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SecureGive (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2024

      Interview

Not a good interview experience, wasted my time and never gave me a response after 4 rounds of interviews, one in person, to tell me if I got the job or not. Very disappointing.

      Sales Development Representative (SDR) Interview

      Aug 2, 2024
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Atlanta, GA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at SecureGive (Atlanta, GA) in May 2023

      Interview

The interview process was extremely frustrating and disorganized. Initially, I had two rounds of interviews with COO Daniel Beaufort, where he asked identical questions both times. I came prepared with my own questions and even prepared a detailed ICP report and script in case of a spontaneous pitch opportunity, which I was told might happen in the second interview. Instead, I was informed that I was a strong candidate and invited to an all expenses paid Atlanta trip for an in-person meeting with another potential BDR. The logistics were poorly managed—I was given only $60 for Ubers and food to my hotel and the restaurant, which was inadequate as my hotel was 30 minutes away from the airport, costing me $65 just for that trip. Consequently, I opted for a rental car, which I had to pay upfront and wait for reimbursement. Moreover, upon arriving at the hotel, I discovered that accommodation hadn't been paid for. The dinner meeting itself, while pleasant in terms of food and ambiance, was essentially a rehash of previous conversations with Daniel. When I inquired about compensation and start date, Daniel evaded my salary question and responded arrogantly about his authority to hire immediately. Despite this, no clear next steps were outlined after the dinner, and with my flight back scheduled the next day, the entire experience left me exhausted and feeling my time had been wasted. Initially patient, I waited for a week after returning home before reaching out to Daniel for updates, only to be reassured that an offer letter was being finalized. However, after two weeks passed without any communication, I followed up again, only to be told that they were still interviewing candidates and finalizing offers. This inconsistent and misleading behavior from Daniel throughout the process, despite his emphasis on transparency, revealed a lack of honesty and integrity that left a sour impression. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend applying to this company unless you are an internal candidate.
