The process involved evaluation of serveral skills and abilities, from text comprehension to even reflexes.
It started with a series of 3 games, each one testing a different skill. Then, it follow up with problems questions that tested your logical thinking, and finally a bunch of text comprehension questions. This first part took 3 hours.
The second part, once I got confirmation via email that I passed the previous tests, were a bunch of standard interview questions, like:
- What are your biggest strengths?
- Do you see yourself as a leader?
- While you work, would you rather being supervised and told exactly what to do, or would you prefer dealing with the problems in your own way?
This second part took me another 3 hours. Then I had a short online interview with the CFO, and 3 days later, they sent me a frontend challenge to complete in less that a week.
Overall, the process before the code challenge took me about 6 hours, but now that I got the job, I think it was definitely worth it.
