Interview
Can't speak for every department, but the team I interviewed was inexperienced and some of the interviewers have a narrow understanding of programming in general, lacking the capability to think openly and embrace different opinions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
simple string processing problems, system design, domain-specific problems
The interview process was great -- fairly standard phone screen (CoderPad + video interview), then an interview onsite with the teams that are looking to hire. The interview onsite consisted of standard system design + whiteboard coding questions -- nothing too crazy. Sema4 places a real emphasis on empathy, and you can feel that people are excited to interview you. Had a good experience there, I'd recommend interviewing there for sure. The team there is smart, hard-working, and very capable of execution.

Phone call + online tech screen + onsite interview

Not even a boilerplate rejection email.
Don't bother with companies like this. If they don't respect your time, don't respect them.
