I applied online. I interviewed at Sempra (San Diego, CA)
Interview
There were so many levels to go through before even getting an in person interview. You had to submit a video and then show up to spend hours testing in a number of areas. Way too much work for not even receiving an interview request.

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sempra (Chula Vista, CA)
Interview
Very rigorous interview process including testing - literacy, math questions, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. All interviews went well and I sent follow-up thank you emails to those I interviewed with. Communication with the HR coordinator was pleasant and speedy. After 3 weeks I had not heard back after interviewing with the top level leaders and only after I sent an email did I get a reply an additional week later that I did not get the job in a very passive “thanks for interviewing but we’ve moved on with another candidate” email. Seems very informal for the amount of time and work you put in for them.

Question 1
Tell us about a time you had to make a difficult decision?
I applied in-person. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Sempra (San Diego, CA) in Jan 2013
Interview
HR phone call followed by hiring manager(s) interview(s), and final with HR. Recruiter provided a lot of info up front re the company, salary, the role, the team members, etc. **Be prepared for even the first HR phone screen to include situation specific behavioral questions, so have examples at the ready. Whole process from application took 2 1/2 months. Software portion of the testing (PSI) included Intermediate Excel, Word and PP, but not Outlook. HR Staffing seems understaffed.

Question 1
A question re something you have done SO many times. So beside preparing examples for the tough questions or to show major accomplishments, prepare a few for the more voluminous tasks you do.
