      Software Engineer Interview

      Apr 17, 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Senseye

      Interview

There were two stages: a call with the CTO, followed by a technical interview with two engineers. The process didn't involve any recruiters or other HR people. I felt like I was speaking to the people making the decision directly. Conversations felt fairly informal, but still well structured.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The main technical interview was a collaborative design exercise that aimed to produce a high-level architecture for a high-scale link shortening service. They were looking at main architectural pieces, design patterns, and suitable technologies.
