I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Service Coordination (Frederick, MD) in Apr 2014
Interview
It was horrible. They really do make the interview process very difficult and already try to make you feel that you are in the position and asking you all these scenario questions which are difficult to answer. I interviewed with this agency twice and was denied for the job TWICE because I did not answer I believe one question the way they wanted.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are your strengths? and other scenario questions pertaining to working with the individuals. There was one like If you have a client who is at danger of being evicted because his house is not clean and the landlord is frustrated, how do you convince the landlord to allow the client to stay?
I interviewed at Service Coordination (Baltimore, MD)
Interview
First a screening interview then an interview with the hiring manager.
Rigid but ultimately simple and thorough interview. Questions were primarily asking to "describe a time when". Not a bad experience at all.

Interview
There were 2 virtual interviews - one with HR the other with supervisors. The second took about 1.5 hours. They also have you complete a sample writing assignment to see how detailed you are.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Service Coordination (Catonsville, MD) in Sep 2024
Interview
There was one interview with the talent acquisition, and the next step would be with the supervisor in the area I applied to in my field of work. I never got a call back for a second interview. I was surprised I was not picked based on a reference from a colleague who works for SCI. We both had the same job before SCI, and technically, I had more work experience, being older than her in other work, and I did not qualify for the second interview. We both were puzzled and disappointed to say I needed more experience, which again did not make sense. I think they care more about a certain degree than hands-on work experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me why you would like to work for SCI?
Many scenario questions, describe a time you had to tell a client no and it was not in policy.
