No interview but given 60 minutes to complete the assessment but there is four sections so it is quite tough as I really want to provide quality subtitles over efficiency.
I have failed the nonsensical test three times. Ive been doing subtitles for about 10 years for some of the biggest global platforms. Multiple choice questions with answers there are either all wrong (none of them reflecting the source), all correct (hard to judge without the context, speaker, tone of conversation etc etc.) or merely preferential. Amazed that such a reputable company would seek and select talent this way! They are going to miss out on some very qualified translators and end up working with those who just took a lucky guess. Im simply baffled by this.
