The hiring team immediately set up a phone interview and then a zoom interview once I applied. The interview process consisted of 3 associates, including one who was asking me to provide a full marketing strategy for their company. During an interview, I felt uncomfortable sharing a full strategy to enhance their marketing efforts.
Shortly after the interview, I was informed that an associate had a death in the family and their decision process would be pushed a week out. It was explicitly communicated to me that I would receive an update the week of Feb. 17th. That week came and passed with no update, leading me to send follow-ups for any sort of response. Upon sending my final follow-up, I almost immediately received a response letting me know a decision was indeed made the week of the 17th and that they had hired a different candidate. Unfortunately, they planned to ignore me and never provide an update. I found this to be quite distasteful and unprofessional. It seems I dodged a bullet. FYI to those applying in the future.
