I recently participated in a recruitment process and interview for a product manager position. Overall, my experience was positive, as the people involved in the process were friendly and welcoming. However, I did notice that there seemed to be a lack of preparedness in terms of hiring needs. Throughout the recruitment process, it became apparent that the hiring team was not entirely sure what they needed from a candidate for this role. This lack of clarity made it challenging to understand the specific skills and qualifications that were essential for the position. Despite this, the interview process was well-organised, and the questions asked were relevant to the role.
