I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at ShareTheMeal (Berlin) in Apr 2020
Interview
I'm really disappointed with Share the Meal. The process officially started in April and ended in May, with no offer. I'm not getting in details of the process here, my critique is very specific: how they handled my design assignment. During my preparation for the final interview, I opened the STM app, and guess what? They implemented two of my main ideas that I proposed. Yes, they put it with a different style, but the concept behind it came clearly from what I presented weeks before. I was shocked, sad and disappointed. I tried to find some answers for that during the interview, but they were like ignoring that was something wrong with that.
I'm just sharing this story because this is a very serious issue. We are talking about people's work, time, and effort. It is not just because I'm was willing to work there, that they can simply take it and use whether they want. I don't think they should hire me, just base on design skills, there are many other factors that I wouldn't be the best fit, but still, that completely wrong, especially for a humanitarian organization.
On top of this, the recruiter ignored my emails, and I never got any feedback regarding the final desition.

Question 1
Questions were more related to my design desitions and workflow (methodologies, interface with developers, etc)

Interview
The interview was not very well organised and suprisingly unprofessional. I was sent a request for an interview, but did not receive a confirmation nor a hangouts link, so I had to request that and wait for days for a confirmation.
On the day of the interview, HR were late for the call with no apology, and decided to switch to phone when they did eventually answer. The questions seemed scattered and not well thought out, as if they had already made up their mind before the call. I didn't receive any feedback at all.

Question 1
what makes a good team for you? whats the worst project you've worked on?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ShareTheMeal (Berlin) in Jun 2019
Interview
I wanted to join ShareTheMeal as I believed in the cause and thought they had a very interesting product. After my 2nd interview, I was told they'd like me to start in 3 months time (September) and they'd let me know exact date in August. After sending numerous emails in August, I finally received a response early September saying they will no longer be taking me on due to restructuring.
While I should have been savvy enough not to rely on this opportunity without having signed a contract, I was extremely disappointed. I put my work-life on hold for 3 months. I was coming from a mid-level relatively well paid job and willing to work for free as an Intern given their noble purpose and alliance with the WFP.
