I applied through a friend. The interview was casual and conducted by a long-time employee, though interviews are now conducted by the supervisor. It was a standard interview then. Now interviews are aggressive and unpleasant. Hiring practices are discriminatory. It's very important for applicants to be fluent in English. If not, especially with non-native-speaking East Asian applicants, they will be put through the ringer and badgered to fully demonstrate weaknesses in their language skills.
