For a first technical round I met with the Full Stack Developer Lead. He asked me several questions regarding algorithms and data structures, database design, web applications/api design & deployment best practices. The interview went very well, the interviewer even said "You already went above and beyond the original question, I no longer need to see your implementation".
To my great surprise, I received an email saying that they decided not to move on beyond the first round. When I asked for feedback, the interviewer replied that the company is suffering from lack of organizational management. The company was looking for a senior developer with 5+ years, but some how HR posted about a more junior position with only 3 years experience needed.
