The interviewer is the CBD of Business Development. He was extremely arrogant and disrespectful of others. He constantly changed his schedule and he blamed on you by not being able to schedule based on his own time. I couldn’t imagine working with this kind of person. Do not apply or you would be so pissed during an interview with him!

I applied to Sinemia on LinkedIn. Took about 2 weeks for the team to contact me. Initially, they reached out for a 1st-round screening interview which was a very straightforward. The interview process was a series of very pointed questions pertaining to my resume. Very detailed. Focused on the "whys" of some of my career decisions.  I then was given about 15 minutes to ask the CBD about future prospects, growth projections, and competitors. He was more than willing to share this information. There's a lot of growth that is happening that is outside of their main product, and tons of growth happening outside the US. A couple days later, I was invited to take part in a 2nd interview; a series of essay questions. Pretty hardcore. 20 questions relating to anywhere from behavioral analysis to my own perspectives on the future of the industry. It took about 5 hours to complete the essays and wasn't sure, my answers were good but answered them to the best of my ability. To my surprise, after about another 2 weeks I was invited for a 3rd interview: a mock sales meeting. Thanks to the thorough process of the first two interviews, I was confident in my ability to make some noise here. At this point it was clear that to me that they are a well established international company that is growing beyond simple movie subscriptions (they have 6 offices, worldwide). They have a leadership team and advisors who have built amazing things and have made a name for themselves in the industry. A little intense. Not what you're used to with the traditional interview process but they are serious about putting together a team of A+ players. It's been 3 weeks now since my 3rd round interview and I haven't heard anything, though I was told I'd hear in a couple weeks for a possible final round interview at the office to meet the team. I suspect I didn't get the opportunity but I'm still hopeful.
