Started with an open application and apparently they had an opening for a specific engineering role which (kinda) matched my qualifications.
I had the interview with a project manager, but in my opinion it was unprofessional. He literally said that he had no idea of what to ask because his engineering background is different than mine; there was a few minutes of awkward moment where he didn't know what to do and neither did I. Finally, he called his colleague whose background and role are similar to the vacancy and asked for his help to "challenge" me. In the end, both were disappointed because I had no practical industrial experience, which the manager actually had known.
Seriously, if they expected a more experienced candidate with years of practical industrial experience and knowledge, why bother inviting me, a fresh graduate, and wasting our time.
