In my 13 years of career appeared for 10s of interview and took 100s of interview but this was worst experience I had. First they did telephonic screening of about 15 minutes, in which no technical questions, just what I am doing currently and expectations from new job, then they called onsite(in Gurgaon), for that recruitment staff told me, there will be total 5-6 interview in whole day. I took leave from office, traveled more than 50km to appear for that. In first round they asked some questions related to my work and in 15 minutes asked me to leave. I have no problem in rejecting someone in 15 minutes, there is nothing wrong in rejecting someone in just 15 minutes if he doesn't meet the basic requirements, problem is wasting whole day time for things, that can be done through telephonic or skype. My whole day leave got waste, if they had planed first round little earlier, at least I should have saved half day leave. It's basic professional etiquettes to respect others time and I think this company failed miserably in that, at least in my case.
