I attended three rounds of interviews. The first two rounds were great, with fair levels of expectations.
In the final round, I met an interviewer named Sudheer who seemed quite unhappy. He appeared to be solely focused on technical skills, even though the role was for a Business Analyst. His expectations seemed to encompass the responsibilities of a technical lead, product owner, and business analyst.
The job description mentioned flexibility, but Sudheer insisted on a strict requirement to work from the office three days a week. He stated, "We can end the discussion if you are not willing to come to the office three days a week."
The JD also mentioned that a BA is expected to bring 2X revenue. When I asked about this, Sudheer said it was vaguely written and not to worry about it.
Overall, HR representative Sovan and Director Jayesh seemed to have fair expectations. However, Sudheer, with his 25 years of experience, seemed to focus solely on technical aspects, potentially making the work environment challenging for others.
