I was invited to set up an appointment for a phone screen with "one of our Chief Instructors," and did so through an online scheduling system. On the day of the appointment, about two hours before the scheduled time, the screening was cancelled by email, saying they would reach out again to schedule a new day/time.
The next day, I got a new scheduling email, and chose a new appointment time for the phone screen later the same week. On the day and time of the second phone screen appointment, I waited for a call that did not come. I emailed the interviewer to follow up after the scheduled time and never got a response.
This was a disappointing experience. I am an active flight instructor – I had to schedule my commitments on two separate days around the phone screen appointments to make time to talk. I did not feel like my time was respected.
