Complete waste of time.
Called in for a different role, told in 1st round that I will be interviewed for different role I was more qualified for. Was told I would receive feedback in a week or two weeks.
Subsequent follow-up revealed they were actually interviewing "more candidates" for the role (1st red flag - explained later).
Also noticed that each time I explained something slightly technical that was outside the domain of specialization of the head of department, it could not be easily understood, even using simplified terms [2nd red flag - potential managerial competence issue].
Partially ghosted afterwards (I say "partially" because while recruiter contact answered phone calls 3 times across 3 weeks, responses were mostly unhelpful and canned answers, and zero email replies/correspondence [3rd red flag]) and given blank automated rejection after a month even though I did well in the initial interview.
Advice to Snoonu Recruitment Team:
If you have significant number of candidates for another role, for the love of you, please don't give false hopes and consider someone who applied for a different role, for another role even if they match the second role better. Simply reject them for the current role they apply for if they don't qualify for it. It is senseless to waste people's time if you already know you won't pass them through and have a lot of candidates for the alternative role.
