Applied online, received an online coding challenge, had time to prepare for the test, did the test in about 3 hours, then I was informed that I didn't meet the results they were looking for, They did send me a follow up email describing what they saw lacking which I appreciated. The online coding challenge was very tight and felt more like an end of semester high school exam, very poor way of assessing someone's real life work proficiency. But aside from that, I got a very good feeling from the hiring team. They seem like a very good and caring company so I hope they re-evaluate their skill test method and move to one on one discussions, or take home challenges.
