I applied online, and was contacted for a phone screen. The recruiter emailed me just before the call and cancelled. Once it was rescheduled, the recruiter called in late. The call was 30 minutes, and most of it was the recruiter talking about the role, the organization, salary, and benefits. There were basic questions “walk me through your resume” type questions.
The call ended with the recruiter saying that I had a great background for the role, and that even if I don’t get the role we should stay in touch given the small industry.
The recruiter did not accept my LinkedIn connection, and promptly ghosted me application. Never even got a denial. Organization doesn’t seem to embody what their mission purports.

Question 1
Talk about your experience conducting investment due diligence?
One phone interview followed by two zoom interviews, one behavioral and one case study. The behavioral interview questions were straightforward and the interviewers were very friendly, they talked a lot about having great colleagues. The case study was more challenging for me. There were four staff members in the interview, they seemed much more formal and didn't ask many questions. They also seemed to know right away it wasn't a good fit, a woman from HR said she would reach out by the end of the following week and to send her a reminder email if she didn't. I emailed but didn't end up hearing back for another four weeks.

Social Finance held two types of interviews - case driven and behavioral interviews. I met a large cohort of the firm and had to demonstrate my analytical ability. I had a positive experience overall.
