I interviewed for a junior developer position. I liked the recruiter and the person who interviewed me on a coding challenge. I even though I got the problem to output correctly and I thought I explained what I was doing, I still get to the next interview.

They asked me write a function to check if a string is a palindrome. They also asked me how to set up associations for models

Interview
I applied online. The whole process took about 2 weeks. The first contact was just a phone screen with HR and was basic behavioral/motivations questions. The first interview was over the phone with HR and an Engineer, where I was asked to complete a few coding challenges followed by some technical questions. The second interview was onsite with the senior engineers/management. I was asked various coding questions/whiteboard problems. The questions were fair, and asked about many different technologies/frameworks. I also got to ask questions and had some great conversations throughout the process. Overall, pretty positive experience.
