I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at SomaLogic Operating Co., Inc. in Jun 2022
Interview
Three separate interviews over three separate days, even though I asked if they could be on the same day so I could take less time off work at my current job. Over these interviews, spoke with a total of 10 people. Everything went great and a week later they told me they were interested in my candidacy but had to wait for a higher-up to get back from vacation to make a final decision. Never heard anything back even after emailing HR and the manager.
I applied online. I interviewed at SomaLogic Operating Co., Inc. (Boulder, CO) in Oct 2015
Interview
This was a contract-to-hire position, so I was contacted by a recruiter after applying online. A preliminary phone screen with the hiring manager was set up through the recruiting agency, and then an in-person interview. Recruiting company totally messes up the format of your resume, so bring a few clean copies if its presentation is important to you! Interview was 3-4 hours in total. For entry-level jobs, interview team is typically 4-5 people who see you one-on-one (1 or 2 in Management, 1 or 2 who would be working alongside the candidate, and 1 in HR). Interview teams are generally trained to offer you water and bathroom breaks in between different interviewers. Depending on the urgency of the need to fill the position, you may be contacted after the interview within the same week or within a couple of weeks with an offer.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Behavioral questions, i.e. "Tell me about a time when you had to choose between two conflicting duties; how did you prioritize them and why?" As well as technical questions related to the specific job duties: "What kinds of laboratory equipment are you familiar with?"
