1st interview was great, quick, and informative. I was a little uncomfy because the interviewer was off-cam, but he balanced it by making the interview friendly and conversational. Hence, I assumed Support Shepherd was a high-standard company.
Accordingly, I followed all the instructions from the given video link on what to prepare during the 2nd. I was all prepared with all the questions that might be asked since it was only a simple job description. And even prepare some questions.
However, when the interview started, it felt like it was in a rush; she informed me that it was only a 15 min interview. I couldn't concentrate because 1. Off-cam 2. Questions were quite hard for the simple job description and requirements their client was seeking 3. Every question where too long to follow, with "since you have six years of experience" at the end, which was a bit distracting. 4. Speaks excellent perfect English but is executed into an interrogation.
After the interview, I emailed the interviewer about the matter. She quickly responded with a short message that they don't require candidates to show their faces on 1st and 2nd interviews, which didn't make sense, and since they made a video instruction, I just strictly followed it. I responded with email attachments of the brief interview instruction. After 2 hours, she gave me an update that the client did not want to move forward with my application without explanation.
Their response reflected how unprofessional they are
