Sorting Robotics interviews are well crafted; difficult, but effective. Following a phone screening with the founder/CEO, I was invited to have dinner with the other co-founder. From there, I was presented with a 7-day mechatronics engineering design challenge, after which I presented a mini design review to the entire company. Following the design presentation, I was individually interviewed by all members of the small company. This process, though challenging, proves highly effective at identifying top talent, and ensures that new employees will cohesively integrate into the existing team.
