I was contacted immediately after posting my resume to the ad listed on Indeed for the position and asked for a pre-screening interview. The recruiter was wonderful and very informative, upbeat, and overall excited to talk to me.
I had the phone interview a week later, and two weeks from there, I had the face-to-face interview as well as a timed test in regards to to position. I was told the HR manager at the location was on maternity leave and I was not given a set time-frame on when I would hear back. I emailed the recruiter asking, but did not hear back. I finally heard back via email a month later, saying that RS is still interested in me, and wanted a life update, etc. on my end, and that they would be in touch.
It has been two months since last communication has taken place and I have not heard from the company again or received any sort of rejection notice.
It really gets a person's hopes up when they're told that the company is interested and the interviews go amazing, and then not hear anything for months; I am being light-hearted as well as considerate, because this company seems wonderful if you are offered a position. Management and the employees did not give a fake impression upon meeting me, and all in all, this has been one of the most positive interview processes I have ever experienced. Even in the areas I lacked expertise for the position, I was not given grief for.
Maybe in my case, there is not an open position, the location may be waiting for the HR manager to return from maternity leave, or RS is simply waiting for the new fiscal year to begin hiring people again. Unfortunately for RS, I have since then given up, interviewed for other companies, and accepted another offer due to the lack of communication.
