I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sportradar in Mar 2025
Interview
Fairly simple, short 30 min screening with recruiter which lead to a take-home exercise to be solved within one week. They seemed very flexible in regard of when to start the assignment and delivery date.
I did the exercise within the one week and got a rejection email after they supposedly looked through my submission. Along with the rejection there was some feedback points on my delivery which I was pleased about. However, reading through the feedback I noticed they quoted function names and logic that was not a part of my code. Additionally, they suggested a fix using a Java specific library while my submission was a TypeScript project, this left me with the feeling that the feedback was aimed at someone else's assignment. When I asked for some clarification I was ghosted.
I face 4 rounds of interview. First round was a HR round (30 min) in which the HR asked me some general questions (mostly related to my CV). After that there were two coding rounds. First was a vibe coding round where I have to develop a simple LLM system, I was given 1 week to comple this. Second was a DSA question. The difficulty level was basic to medium. Finally there was a last technical + cultural fit round of 45 min.

Question 1
Tell me about specific projects and past experiences and how I solve one difficult problem in it.
Too many steps and too much time needed for the entire process. I ended up accepting the offer from the other company. Standard questions, if you are well prepared you will be ok.

Interview
I have an interview. Fundamental introductory interview. Then a coding challenge. The coding challenge was simple and straightforward. After submission, I received a rejection email with feedback. The feedback was mostly incorrect. I don't know how they evaluate submissions. Then they ghosted. I won't apply to this company again.
