I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Staff Zone (Jacksonville, FL) in Jan 2017
Interview
I applied and received a call from a recruiter to arrange a f2f interview at 10:00am. She explained the job over the phone as a recruitment office for rehabilitated felons, hired as laborers and paid daily. I would report to the General Manager, assisting him with payroll, expense reports, office duties, opening and closing the office.
I get to the Interview at 9:45am, and the office was not open for business. I call the recruiter to clarify the interview time, and was told the manager thought the interview was at 11:00am (bad sign). I leave the premises after calling both the recruiter and the office and waiting about 20 minutes. On the way to my house I get a call from a manager asking me to come back to the office, because he thought the interview was at 11am, and was sitting in his car enjoying a Diet Coke (office hours are 9:30am-6:30pm). Why was he sitting in his car when he should have been in the office ready for business-another RED FLAG. I give him the benefit of the doubt and drive back to the office which is NOW open (metal sliding doors), get out of my car and walk to the front door to now find the doors have been pulled shut and closed!
WTF!! So I leave, while leaving I see a SUV pulling out of the office parking lot.
Other Office Manager Interview Reviews for Staff Zone
First you will get screened by hr, interviewed by branch manager and then observe pay out.
They will ask you questions based on the job description so as long as you know what you applied for, you should be good. In my experience it was a pretty traditional interview process “what’s your experience?” “Why this company?” “Are you okay with this salary?” “What do you think about this in this company?” “Why should we pick you over others?”
