I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stanza Living (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Apr 2019
Interview
Please don't waste your time. Prefer to go somewhere else.
Even after everything was planned, their HRs made me wait for 90 minutes. They don't have a DevOps Engineer in the organization.
Just after the 2nd question asked by interviewer I got a sense that he's not a DevOps guy.
My interview was taken by a Software Developer who had zero knowledge about DevOps. He kept dragging me into git because that was the only thing he knew from my resume. He wasn't able to ask appropriate questions & was creating weird faces after listening to my answers & on the scale I work.
When I told him in deep, on what scale we are working & how we have implemented DevOps, he was impressed for some seconds.
The word "systemd" made him raise his eyebrows, now you can imagine the level of knowledge the interviewer had about OS & DevOps.
They guy was acting so smartly that he was asking me questions in such a manner to know how things work in DevOps & what tools are better for implementing DevOps.
Then later, on a personal note, I asked him about the DevOps present in the company, then I came to know they don't have a permanent DevOps guy(they got one on contract). Everything is done by Devs only.
So this shows why there's no DevOps guy there. Devs are doing stuff there in their own manner(you know what I mean).
They don't want any DevOps to join there as they don't want to lose the hold they have on production environments.
People like him are the real danger for the company.
Interviewed during a recruitment drive at their corporate office.
Specialised with Google Cloud. Interviewer largely concentrated on Devops fundamentals and practicals done on their laptop-infrastructure. Understanding of my knowledge about google cloud was thoroughly tested. They ask me all questions on how google cloud works with scalable solution.
