I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at StarRez (Denver, CO)
Interview
I was brought in for 4 interviews.
(1) The first interview consisted of a phone screen interview with the immediate supervisor. He asked questions about my background and resume, and asked a few technical questions. The hardest question was "What is Active Directory?"
(2) The second interview consisted of an in person interview with the immediate supervisor and another senior support level staff. They asked questions about customer service, as well as general troubleshooting questions.
(3 & 4) The third and fourth interview happened on the same day. The third interview was with the Global Manager in Australia via phone. He asked most about my background. The fourth interview was with the owner, who again asked most about my background. I then took a 5 question SQL test, which was comprised of simple SELECT statements.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at StarRez (Melbourne) in Aug 2015
Interview
Consisted of three rounds, completed 2 rounds and last one was meeting with Manager.Reference Check was already done by then. But I was rejected just because they said my experience did not meet their requirement. So did they really need 2 complicated rounds to decide that I was not meeting their requirements???
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at StarRez (Melbourne)
Interview
1st interveiw: a general chat with human resources, just finding out about who you are and your goals, explainign about the employers goals and the job. This is followed up with a basic test with some SQL and how to trouble shoot some basic issues.
2nd interview: Held by a senior member of the team and a manager. This is a more formal interview, discovering what you aim to bring to the team and to find out your goals. There is another test again it is not too hard with simple SQL and more trouble shooting questions.
3rd interview: This is taken by the head of department and is very much a explanation of the company and a get to know you interview.
The process was great but felt rushed at points and overwhelming with the amount of interviews. I was constantly kept up to date which was awesome, considering the amount of people that applied and I felt like an individual and not a number.
