I applied for a job after seeing the position posted in local newspaper. About 2 weeks later, the company wanted to set up an interview. This was scheduled for about a week later. On the day of the interview I thought I was prepared after all it was just a secretarial position and I knew what the organization was all about. I showed up at my interview ready and wanting the job. There were 3 interviewees consisting of 2 women and 1 male.
The male was the superintendent of the organization. I didn't think I would interview with him, wasn't prepared for that. There were about 5 to 8 or so questions they ask of me some I was not prepared for, I am not a good interviewer. Here are a couple questions that I was asked,
1. How do you handle a difficult co worker? His reply to my answer was, " Oh you have been there before."
2.What did you do for your last supervisor? I didn't get the feeling he wanted my job description.
3.What software have you used before and for what projects?
4. Have you ever had to convince a coworker to use your idea?
Can't remember the rest. Then I was sent out to do tests in word and excel. That was all, haven't heard back from them to this day.
