I applied online. I interviewed at Starlizard (Camden Town, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
Really nice people, however difficult interview. They want to know your knowledge of how different game states/home field advantage/ red cards/ injuries affect the probabilities of winning the match in terms of %. A bit strange that you'll be rejected if you don't get the correct answer, because that is something really easy to just learn...
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How does a red card at the 5th minute affect the outcome of a match in terms of % (will be based around a specific match and player).
Overall experience was great, felt very comfortable and got a nice tour of the office. Only recommendation is maybe one of the stages could have been done remotely as traveling back and forth to London over multiple stages can be costly

Question 1
I was given work to complete between interviews and questioned on it. There was also a countdown style numbers game.
Very intuition focused for football events and how they affect winning probabilities, such as red cards, home advantage, game state etc. It was fun but can be a bit cold when you give an answer that they deem quite far from being correct

Question 1
What is the chances of Ipswich getting relegated with Liam Delap injured for the rest of the season (around feb 2025), and without?
