      Account Service Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Stealth Creative (Saint Louis, MO) in Jun 2019

      Interview

I reached out to their general email box inquiring about account leadership opportunities. The next day, they invited me to come in for an interview, but because of schedules, we had a phone call instead. A few days later, I went to their office for an in-person meeting. It was absolutely the strangest interview I've ever had. They were totally ill-prepared (had no idea what their needs were, had no idea how I'd fit in, and when they introduced me to people around the office, they kept saying I was from a town that I'm definitely not from). Truly, the oddest part of the interview was when they had to leave me alone in an office for 45 minutes while they went to deal with a client situation. I did not expect to hear back from them, since it was such a bizarre experience, but they proactively reached out a short time later saying I'd be a great fit to head-up one of their groups. I responded, saying I'd like to learn more about the opportunity and asked when I could come back in to meet the rest of the team...but they didn't respond. I followed-up again three weeks later, and again, they ignored my email. I was cleaning out my inbox recently and decided to reach back out to see if the main point of contact could provide some feedback (why I never heard back, why I wasn't the right fit, where was I lacking/what could I work on, etc.). And again! No reply. Ghosting people who invest their time and energy in your company is really bad form. Interviewee beware!

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review of the company. I’m sorry that you didn’t have a good experience when interviewing with us. We’re a mid-sized agency and several of us wear a number of hats. Sometimes things don't go to plan as well as we'd like and it seems like the day you visited was just such a day. We apologize that things didn't go as smoothly as you'd hoped.
