I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Steinhauser in Apr 2016
Interview
Interview process was very unique. First, had a phone interview with HR. She was very friendly and conversational. We scheduled an in-person interview for later that week. The interview consisted of two back to back interviews. The first was with the HR director and another employee, and focused more on my qualifications for the job. The second was with two account managers and focused on whether or not I would fit in with their culture. Both interviews were very relaxed and all the staff were friendly. I scheduled another interview with them the next day, which was with their President and another employee. This interview also focused on whether or not I would fit in with the culture, but also had some qualification questions. Roughly a week after this interview, I was informed they had decided to go with a different candidate.
SUMMARY:
Steinhauser is a very culture-centric company, which is a good thing in their case. They have a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. If you are interviewing with them, make sure to emphasize how you could fit in at their company, since the President looks at her employees like family, and is very selective of who she allows to join her staff. I can't say enough good things about Steinhauser and their interview process, my only negative is that I'm not currently working there.
