I applied online and my email was followed up by the company owner. After an exchange of emails, we setup a phone call. I did not have the management experience they were seeking, which stopped the interview about four minutes into our conversation. However, it was a positive experience. I would rather a company be upfront than play the "let's see if you say our magic words" game that many companies play. I have other offers on the table and the company's digital team seems very middle of the road, so this was a wash for me. Usually, the fact that I've helped companies increase online conversion by 157 - 450% gets me past the other requirements (as it has on contract roles previously and the current offers I have). C'est la vie.
