      Sales Interview

      Jan 11, 2021
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      New York, NY
      No offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at StockX (New York, NY) in Dec 2020

      Interview

I applied online for the role through their website. Shortly after, I got an email for a request to have a phone screen from the recruiter. The interview went well with the recruiter. She asked me about my background, what I already knew about the company, and typical cultural fit questions. After the recruiter moved me forward to have an interview with the hiring managers in a panel zoom meeting. One seemed great while the other seemed very unenthused. They asked me typical scenario questions, career pathing questions, and how my daily workflow looked like. I followed up with the recruiter after the interview and was advised they will make a decision on final rounds in 2 weeks. After that I wwd ghosted from the company, which shows poor communication from the recruiting team. I'm assuming the communication totally fell off once they decided to move forward with other candidates, but at least an automated rejection email would have been nice.

      Interview

4 rounds of interviews for full-time role, spread over 2 months with lots of positive interactions. It was basically the same interview over and over again at higher levels of management. ultimately ghosted by recruiter and hiring manager with no update on if I was selected for the position, despite following up.
