I applied for the Computational Scientist position. First communication was via Skype. We went over my resume and then a few questions about what I was looking for in this position, what kind of programming experience I had, specifically HPC, etc. I was invited on-site to give a talk on my research. After the talk, there was a mini-programming exercise, a white board test of my basics in my area of specialization. I had a pretty good discussion with three of the employees about the company and the nature of work for the specific position I applied. I did not have sufficient experience C++ or GPU programming at this time and was therefore not offered the position. It was my first interview and overall was a good learning experience.
