Initial interview was canceled with no explanation 30 minutes before. Hey, it happens so we rescheduled. The actual interview with the hiring manager went well and was very positive. I was told that I would move onto the second round, and would be hearing from HR. The next morning, I received an email from HR asking me to do the second interview that very day with only three hours notice. I declined as I did not have availability with such an extremely short notice. I sent my availability for the next few days and then received an email from the hiring manager expressing their dissatisfaction that I was not available that day. They then ghosted me. It seemed like a nice company but that experience was highly unprofessional and unorganized. Interviews go both ways and if a company can’t/won’t respect a candidate’s time/schedule then that is a huge red flag.
