Interview
The interview consists of five stages, first is bread & butter and favorite of every programmer, so leetcode puzzles. You are told to train on leetcode.com, but then during the interview you're just sharing a notepad with the interviewer. You are unable to run the code, which they don't say beforehand. You spend an hour talking to yourself with silent interviewer in background looking at you trying to debug your solution on paper. You're given minimum feedback during the interview, and then absolutely no feedback after the interview. Speaks for itself, really.
1. Recruiter Call
2. Phone interview with iOS-specific knowledge questions around threading and views. Then a leet-code esque coding question.
I took some time to come up with a solution and was asked to optimize it. I had a follow-up approach that was close to the optimized solution but the interviewer didn't manage time well so didn't get a chance to finish the optimized solution.
The recruiter didn't provide any feedback so not sure which part or parts of my interview didn't do the best on.
