I chose to write a review about my interview at Symphono because, although I didn't get the job, It's still one of the interviews I enjoyed the most. I first met the Company's CEO at the university career fair, where I briefly learned about Symphono and what type of software they develop. I stayed in touch with both the CEO and CTO through emails. I was then given the opportunity for a quick phone interview with the CTO who asked some general questions about my interests and told me briefly about the industry Symphono is involved in. Immediately after that I was invited for an on-site interview at the company. I had the chance to meet with different persons related to the position I was interviewing for. I thought I did well but anyway I was still new to the interview process.
Overall, now that I already did more interviews, I'm getting better at it and I'm experiencing different processes, but I still like the Symphono recruiting process for more than one reason:
- The process was very fast and correspondence was straight forward.
- I met with very professional and interesting people who were actually very friendly and comforting too
- the job description was very clear and detailed - I knew exactly what would my role be if hired and what type of work to expect. I mainly liked the diversity of stuff that I would be responsible for (Not at all a boring job where u would be doing the same thing over and over everyday)
- The company is still small but expanding very fast
- I LOVED the location of the company. In the middle of the business loop downtown Chicago.
- The position seemed exciting and challenging - a lot of room for learning, gaining a good experience, and expanding knowledge in finance.
In summary.. Great work environment.
