The interview with the CEO was less of an interview and more of an interrogation.
The company is in decline, with a reducing number of clients and revenue and a pathetic work culture that I identified by the first meeting. The CEO (Rahim) is truly a jerk and a narcissistic person as explained by several other reviewers. Initially, I was expecting him to be a caring person, and someone who might have changed his old habits that were described by previous employees as my first interviewer said when I questioned him about employee dissatisfaction and he replied that things have happened before COVID, however, now they have improved, trusting him I follow along the interview process yet I found out that the management is still the same and doesn't care about employee well-being and CEO is the same conceited guy,
The interview had 3 stages,
-interview with team lead,
-case study
-interview with CEO, Rahim Lalani
The initial interview went perfect that was with the team lead with whom I was supposed to work with, I liked the guy, and perhaps he also found me desirable to work with as he proceeded me to the next round,
Case study also went well,
However, the interview with CEO was pathetic as rather than finding out about my skillset or myself as a person, he was more interested in finding out the other companies I had applied for and kept pondering over this matter for like 15-20 minutes.
Let me be honest here, I was hesitant to say it during the interview, but your company's reputation isn't good to begin with, rather, it is the lowest I have ever seen in Pakistan during my time in the job hunt. You should be grateful people are still applying to your place where each employee is dissatisfied by the cocky behavior,
The reality is that the company is on the decline, and the CEO himself said that the work hasn't been good since the past 1.5 year as the company is not getting clients, thus it has changed its strategy and started looking for international clients, which even if it works out, if you have to face this despicable guy every day then it's better not to work here.
