      Software Engineer III Interview

      Sep 10, 2020
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Atlanta, GA
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TK Elevator (Atlanta, GA)

      Interview

Applied via a job board. There was an introductory phone screen with a manager, with behavioral and background questions. Next was a technical interview in the office with 3 managers. Somewhat difficult questions, mainly to test appropriate placement. An offer was sent a day after. I requested an additional phone call with the manager of the team, which was held the following week. The initial offer's compensation was set below the industry and local area's average (as well as Glassdoor's estimate for that matter). A counter offer was rejected due to internal pay parity policies. Overall a good experience, enjoyed the people, but they were unable to offer a competitive salary.
